WOW!
It’s super cool that you landed here, and as such we are rolling out the red carpet for you as our very welcome guest.
If you were wondering exactly how we got here as podcasting crew, then you are not alone!
ROLL HISTORY CHECK:
DM Yazmin and Samantha have close familial ties, and along with Ryan and Colin were age old friends. We stemmed back to the days when we were all active (and flexible), like minded sports people….indeed, days when we were far less physically broken 🙂
The passage of time saw a swap from our sparring gear (now collecting dust in our cupboards), to a table and some VERY cool dice, where an ‘athletics’ check was seemingly easier to pass… (well sometimes anyway).
We set out on our podding adventures as ‘The Dungeons & Dragons Podcast UK’ with our first campaign,
‘The Secrets of the Silver City’ – a 3.5e campaign based on the concept of a fan created 5e campaign set in the MTG plane of Innistrad.
This ran for 200 weekly episodes over the course of 4 and-a-half years, (filled with high fantasy from the DM, and low wisdom from us players!) and although now having drawn to its natural conclusion, the whole campaign from prelude episode to it’s final curtain, is accessible via a streaming link found on our ‘streaming links’ page.
It was originally destined to be a short ten episode yarn…but there you go….epic storylines, amazing characters and extensive role play from the crew, all of which have a habit of taking an adventure to places you have never imagined!
It was during this time as an established crew of four that Spencer accepted our invitation to take up an extra seat at the table, and fitting right in from the get-go, he brought ‘Cadeaux’ his colourful Cleric into our adventure.

Shortly after this, Luca our Alaskan Malamute puppy first planted his very oversized floofy paws in our home studio, wreaking havoc on our lives, extensive cabling, and recordings, as he tried out a little voice acting of his own with a few impromptu appearances along the way.

A fun eighteen months passed, Luca got hugely bigger and ‘floofier’, sadly Spencer eventually stepped away, and much later so too did Colin. It was the experienced Rikh Rolls GM that slid into one of the spare hot-seats to take up the adventuring challenge, and more recently we have been joined full-time by Mike (a gaming friend and genuinely all round great guy), and on a part-time/guest basis by the wonderfully charismatic Ian, (who prefers to be known as ‘Gus’ for reasons yet to be established!).
The decision to look beyond our ‘Secrets of the Silver City’ campaign and to the future, was a necessary step. The podcast’s gathering popularity had taken us all by surprise, hi-lighting the need to broaden our horizons beyond the generic and rather linear group title we had originally set out with. With this firmly in mind, we decided to individualize and ‘re-brand’, choosing a new name that we felt would better reflect both ourselves and our creativity – and so it was, after much discussion and planning, that in late 2025 ‘Realm Of Rolls’ finally came to pass…
